Since starting her HR career 27 years ago Dani has worked in a variety of roles including Training, Recruitment, Shared Services, Reward and Pensions before ending up specialising in Benefits & Wellbeing.
Dani is currently leading the Benefits Team at Sainsbury’s Group and is responsible for driving the benefits strategy across the Sainsbury’s brands including Argos, Habitat, Nectar, Tu and Sainsbury’s Bank. She’s constantly looking for new and innovative ways to bring to life the company’s benefits offering, working closely with the Wellbeing Team to ensure clear communication and delivery under their wellbeing pillars. She has been both an Advisory Board member and Employee Wellbeing Awards judge for REBA.
As the former Benefits Manager for Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Holidays responsible for core and voluntary benefits, Dani successfully managed the launch and implementation of multiple new benefits and services such as digital GP, personalised financial education, ULEV car scheme and brand new flexible benefits platform, achieving the Workplace Wellbeing Charter and winning REBA’s Employee Wellbeing Award for Benefits Strategy 2018 as well as nominations for WSB and Employee Benefits awards.Also qualified as a Mental Health First Aider, Dani is passionate about positively influencing the health and wellbeing of colleagues and is looking forward to returning to a live REBA event!
